Reading Scouts salvage festival camping gear for sale

79th Reading Scouts are working in partnership with Festival Republic, the organisers of Reading Festival, and Bright Green, a community recycling project, to ensure that the thousands of items of camping equipment left behind by festival goers at this year’s Reading Festival are cleared away and put to good use.

Avon Scouts rise to the challenge of an Icelandic adventure

Four Scouts from Avon, Mark Gascoigne, Stephen Grigg, Ian Maybury and Christopher Norris joined up with 3000 16 to 25 years olds from around Europe to take part in an adventure of a lifetime.
